Start With What the Site Requires

Almost every oilfield location requires footwear that meets ASTM F2413-18 — the standard behind every true safety toe. That rating means the toe survives a 75 foot-pound impact and 2,500 pounds of compression. Most sites add two more letters worth knowing: EH (electrical hazard — the sole withstands 18,000 volts in dry conditions) and oil/slip-resistant outsoles.
